Glacier Ride

5-10 July 2016

Glacier Ride is a 6-day event spanning two spectacular national parks and two countries—Glacier National Park on the U.S. side and Waterton National Park on the Canadian side. Glacier National Park captures the essence of what the pristine, undisturbed Rocky Mountain region has been like over thousands of years. This ride explores some of the wildest country in the lower 48 and an ecosystem threatened by development, climate change, and exotic species.

Climate Hike-Glacier

13-17 July 2016
3-7 August 2016

On Climate Hike Glacier, you’ll spend four days hiking the iconic trails on the ‘Crown of the Continent’. You’ll see majestic 500-year old cedar forests under threat of wildfires and glaciers in fast retreat. Over four days of hiking, you’ll cover 40+ miles across the park—traversing aretes and high alpine mountain passes and glacier lakes and waterfalls. Professional Glacier Guides will accompany us on each day to teach us about Glacier’s unique ecosystem, so you can bring this knowledge home to your community.

Pacific Northwest Ride

4-9 August 2016

Climate Ride Pacific Northwest is an exciting international route that explores the newly-coined Salish Sea (which includes Puget Sound, the Georgia Strait, and the Strait of Juan de Fuca) while riding counter clockwise and discovering the best of the Pacific Northwest. On this itinerary, we will start and end in Seattle and we’ll visit Washington State’s San Juan Islands, Canada’s Vancouver Island, and the spectacular Olympic National Park.

Bar Harbor to Boston Ride

8-12 September 2016

This 5-day, 390-mile route takes advantage of the best cycling in Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts. You’ll ride along the North Atlantic’s scenic coastline by day and spend evenings with an amazing community of people. Upon registration, you will have an opportunity to choose from more than 150 beneficiaries making an impact on environment, sustainability and active transportation causes.

NYC to DC Ride

17-21 September 2016

Climate Ride NYC-DC is a grand cycling adventure that connects two of the nation’s most important cities—New York and Washington, DC—by bicycle. From the exciting departure by ferry in Manhattan to the hero’s welcome and rally at the steps of the US Capitol, the East Coast version of Climate Ride is more than a bike trip—it’s an inspiring journey with 200 like-minded people who are united by their passion for sustainability, renewable energy, and bicycles – the ultimate carbon-free form of transportation.

How to Register

Registration includes a jersey or hiking shirt then participants are asked to raise at least $2800 to participate in an all-inclusive event. The rides are fully supported by a team of talented leaders. Climate Ride is with you every step of the way to help with fundraising and training.
