Science Communication Training Session Guidelines
AGU and The National Geographic Society are hosting a training session on science communication for scientists. This session will be held on Monday afternoon, 1200h-1700h, 30 April at the Hamilton Crowne Plaza, the headquarters hotel for the Science Policy Conference. Registrants of the conference have the opportunity to improve their science communication skills via this afternoon workshop. Those interested in attending the training should check the box on the Ticketed Events Page under Workshops. AGU will contact those interested by 30 March with further details. Guest Policy
Guests are only permitted to attend Tuesday’s evening reception on Capitol Hill. Guests are not allowed to attend the scientific sessions, refreshment breaks, and luncheons at the Ronald Reagan Building.
Cancellation Policy
Written cancellations must be made by Monday, 9 April 2012 to receive a refund; a $30 USD processing fee will be incurred. After Monday, 9 April 2012, no refunds will be given.
