Peter Griffith

Dr. Griffith is the founding director of NASA’s Carbon Cycle & Ecosystems Office, supporting the North American Carbon Program, a component of the U.S. Global Change Research Program; the Arctic Boreal Vulnerability Experiment; and the Carbon Cycle & Ecosystems Focus Area at NASA HQ . He is a passionate public speaker about the human impacts on the carbon cycle and their implications for ecosystems and climate, who has been called “the Neil DeGrasse-Tyson of CO2”.
