Who’s eligible to vote?
All regular and student members who joined or renewed their membership by 1 July 2012 are eligible to vote for this year’s election of AGU leaders.
How can I check my member record in the AGU database?
Contact service@agu.org or log in to view your profile information at http://members.agu.org. If you’d like to find out which groups you are a member of, you can click the “Sections/Focus Groups” link.
How do I vote?
The election will be held electronically and all members must have a valid email address on file at AGU to receive login credentials from the election vendor. More information is provided in the FAQs.
Login credentials will be emailed from the vendor on 4 or 5 September. Emails are spaced out over two days. Please watch your in-box.
When will I know who won?
Election results will be announced in mid-October, and newly-elected leaders will take office on 1 January 2013 and serve for 2 years.
